Intended Use
The Lumbamed Disc stabilizes the lumbar and lower thoracic spine, as well as the lumbosacral transition, without impairing muscular strength. It improves spinal alignment, relieves pressure on affected segments, and reduces pain. The modular structure allows for gradual adjustment of support elements as recovery progresses.
It is recommended for continuous wear, especially in the initial phase of therapy and post-surgical recovery. The specially designed Comfort Zone ensures a correct and comfortable fit around the groin area. In case of excessive pain or discomfort, discontinue use and seek medical advice.

Fitting Instructions
How to Put on the Brace:
-
Prepare the brace – Loosen the straps by detaching the Velcro ends and repositioning them on the belt’s velour section.
-
Position the brace – Ensure the magenta edge on the right-hand inner fastener is pointing upward for correct orientation.
-
Wrap the brace – Place your left hand in the inner strap of the left fastener and wrap the brace around your body.
-
Secure the fasteners – Slide your right hand into the outer hand strap on the right fastener and pull both sides together to attach the Velcro. The lower edge should sit just above the pubic bone.
-
Adjust the straps – Unfasten the pull straps and pull them forward simultaneously to achieve the desired tightness and support level.
Removing & Changing Stabilizing Rods:
- Hold the lower end of the rod and gently pull downward while slightly separating the upper fabric opening.
- Remove the rod from its pocket.
- To insert a new rod, slide it into the pocket and reposition it securely.
