Post-Operative Treatment:

• PCL reconstruction – Supports remodeling of the PCL graft

Conservative Treatment:

• Recent PCL rupture & instability
• Limitation of posterior tibial translation to reduce strain on the posterior cruciate ligament
• Patellofemoral pain syndrome (treatment-resistant)
• Extension deficits caused by contractures of the posterior capsule fibers
• Acute anterior knee pain

Contraindications:

• Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) of the leg and thigh
• Isolated anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) rupture or insufficiency

Instructions for Use:

1️⃣ Position the calf support pad so that the upper edge aligns with the marking on the brace.
2️⃣ Ensure the lower end of the pad aligns with the top edge of the ankle bone.
3️⃣ If the pad is too long, trim the top portion, ensuring it does not extend beyond the marking.
4️⃣ Align the posterior stabilization rods at the center of the back of the leg.
5️⃣ If needed, mold the medial and lateral rods for a customized fit.
6️⃣ Wrap the brace around the leg, keeping the kneecap uncovered.
7️⃣ Secure the thigh straps first, followed by the calf straps.
8️⃣ Tighten the Velcro fastener above the knee for a snug, secure fit.

Important Safety Notice:

• Mild calf pain may occur within the first few hours of use. If pain persists for more than 24 hours, consult a doctor.
• Contact a doctor immediately if you experience sudden pain, swelling, loss of sensation, coldness in the foot, or blue discoloration of the toes.
• Keep the leg still and loosen the Velcro fasteners while awaiting medical attention.
