How to Apply the Knee Splint:

1. Open all straps and remove the hinged bars from the cotton pads.
2. Wrap the cotton thigh & calf pads tightly around the leg and fasten securely.
3. Attach the lateral (outside) bar, ensuring the hinge is aligned with the patella and knee midline.
4. Attach the medial (inside) bar, ensuring both joints are level.
5. Fasten the straps:
   • Start with the upper calf strap, then the lower thigh strap.
   • Secure the remaining straps from bottom to top.
6. To remove, simply unfasten the straps & pads, then pull the orthosis backward.
