Absolute Contraindications:

• Peripheral artery disease (PADI) with systolic pressure index (IPS) < 0.6
• Advanced diabetic microangiopathy (for compression > 30 mmHg)
• Phlegmasia coerulea dolens (painful blue phlebitis with arterial compression)
• Septic thrombosis
