This allows the end user to retain their independence, making the Orion III ideal for both facility and home use.Special features of the Orion III wheelchair facilitate the end user’s feeding and respiratory functions. The features also reduce pressure beneath the user’s pelvis and improve visual alignment by keeping the individual’s head upright. FEATURES
The Orion III wheelchair was designed for individuals with the need to redistribute their body weight to achieve optimal positioning. This wheelchair offers 3 – 45 degrees of tilt, an optional – 9 to +33 degrees of recline, an adjustable seating system that comes standard, different possible seat-to-floor heights, and a streamlined design for maximum functionality.
SWINGAWAY FRONT RIGGINGS
Swingaway Front Riggings give the end user the option of swing-out or dual swing-in and swing-out. Ideal for transporting and seating the end user.
EZ RECLINE
Dual Cross Gas Cylinders are designed so the wheelchair can recline with the maximum ease.
SMOOTHER TILT
Dual Cross Gas Cylinders fitted underneath the wheelchair allow for the gentlest, slowest possible tilting of the end user. The wheelchair is lockable at multiple angles.
AXLE PLATE
A Rear Axle mount can be adjusted for the best in stability, while also allowing the end user a wide range of movement.
ATTENDANT FOOT TILT
The Attendant Foot Tilt feature allows the end user’s caregiver to tilt the wheelchair through using the pedal to tilt the chair upwards or downwards.
TILT IN SPACE
Offers a true 45 degree of tilt for optimal positioning for the end user.
Large front openings make it easy for the wheelchair to be self propelled.
GROW-ABLE FRAME
The Orion III’s frame can grow as needed without replacing parts. Up to 4” of width growth is possible, and the wheelchair seat depth is grow-able up to 2” with each seat rail.
